A Familys Fathers Day Celebrations

Fathers day celebrations are not as easy as they seem

, it isnt about opening a few bottles of bear and watching a sports event with your dad as most people would have you believe. Although spending time with your father is important, if you do it by sitting in front of the T.V. it isnt really spending time with him as much as it is just being in the same room and not having to talk to each other. Theres also the fact that there may not be sporting event on T.V. that your dad likes and buying tickets to one might be out of budget.

Here are a few activities that you can make a tradition of doing every fathers day. Not only will it make it easier to give your dad a much simpler gift, but itll also make a nice fathers day memory.

A Fathers Day Party

It might sound crazy to you but your dad will love a huge Fathers Day party because if it isnt big and everyone isnt blown away by it, it isnt a gift that a guy would like. If you have any siblings that live out of state get them to come and really celebrate the day. Have an outdoor cookout and invite your dads friends. Hell be the proudest guy in the world when he shows off just how much he means to his family.

The Best Dad Award

Buy something from the local craft store that you can spray paint golden and make it in to a trophy for your dad. You could toast him and share what it is that makes him such an important part of your life. If you think women like hearing this kind of stuff, youll be pleased to find that men get just as sentimental when their kids acknowledge their role.

A Grand Gift

Complete the day by presenting your dad with a grand gift; nothing big and fancy but just something thats special enough to make him feel honored. If it were his birthday you could try a cake but since it isnt try giving him a fruit bouquet. Fruit bouquets are Fathers day fruit baskets but they look and taste better and are just right for the grand effect that you need to go for. Theyre fruit sculptures that look like flowers and are made with strawberries, pineapple daisy slices, apple wedges, oranges, bananas and lots of other kinds of fruits.

Remember to take lots and lots of pictures, you can put them together in an album and give them to your dad next year or make a movie that hell like watching when youve moved out.
