A Fast And Yummy Tasteful Casserole Recipe

There's a quick and easy meal that can be made in no time

. A chicken casserole recipe is not only good for the soul, but a practical and tasty dish for almost any function you may have planned. It makes a great presentation at any family barbecue, an event at work, or at your very own table. While it is easy to make and delicious, it's sure to be an all time favorite.

Start by gathering all of your ingredients together. This makes it easier when preparing. You will need:

4 slices of cheese-preferably Swiss, 2 cans creamed chicken soup, 1 container of instant stuffing, half cup milk, half cup melted butter, 1/2 cup sour cream, and 4 chicken breasts that are boneless and skinless.

Using a slow cooker, place the chicken in the bottom of the pot. Be sure to grease the cooker lightly so the poultry will not stick. When finished, thoroughly cleanse your hands in order to stop the spreading of germs.

Apply the cheese to the chicken. Layer one piece per breast. Continue until they have been topped.

You will need a large bowl to combine the wet ingredients. Mix together two cans of creamed chicken soup, half cup of milk, and half cup of the sour cream. Combine thoroughly.

Follow the instructions that are on the stuffing container. After is has been made, stir in half cup melted butter.

Using a wooden spoon spread the stuffing mixture over the chicken. Make sure you apply the mixture around them also.

Set the cooker to high and allow them to cook for an hour and a half while covered. After the time is up, remove the cover and cook for an additional thirty minutes.

If you would like to add some extra flavor, you may use an Au gratin mixture for the topping. You will need melted butter, bread crumbs, and some dried herbs of your choice. Mix these ingredients together and sprinkle over the top. If you like cheese, this may be used as well.
