In the UK too silk flowers artisans took this craft seriously and by early 1800s became everybodys favourite. Then they were made from various fabrics including satin, muslin, silk, gauge or velvet or materials such as porcelain, metal or wax.

In China artificial flowers were used for artistic expressions.

Plastic: Plastic flowers are made like glass blooms are made. The melted plastic is moulded into different flowers.
