Perform a few queries in Google and try and locate companies or charities that accept donations and are likely to link back to your website (have a look around and see if the website has a sponsors, donors or thank you page).
Another useful way to generate links to your website is through Guest Blogging. Guest Blogging is essentially the process of submitting content to another webmasters blog in exchange for a link back to your website. This type of approach can be really useful when it comes to diversifying your backlink profile and gaining authoritative links. Make sure that the content you submit is as good as anything you would publish on your own site and try and avoid being self-promotional the aim here is to let readers of the blog or site benefit from your experience. You never know, you may get some referrals from it.
