Her voice has striking tunefulness and exquisite tonal malleability. Subhras voice is best suited for khayal recital. She is currently a guru at the ITC Sangeet Research Academy where many aspiring singers are making the best use of the guidance provided by her.

Subhra Guha has been a regular A grade artist of All India Radio and Doordarshan. She has performed at almost all prestigious platforms in the country like, ITC Sangeet Sammellans in Delhi and Kolkata, Sawai Gandharva, Pune; Harivallabh Sangeet Sammelan, Jalandhar; Dover Lane Music Conference, Kolkata; Saptak Music Festival, Ahmadabad. She also performed in USA, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Bangladesh and many other countries. She has also had several teaching assignments all across the world.
