Meanwhile, saturated fat is harmful for the body because it stimulates the liver to produce cholesterol, which also has a role to give you more possibility to get heart disease. Cholesterol that precipitates over time will inhibit the flow of blood and oxygen, so it can disturb the metabolism of cardiac muscle cells.

In addition, junk food also increases your possibility to get obesity. This obesity problem is also more prevalent at children age. Unfortunately, obesity is a major risk factor for heart disease because if you get obesity, your heart must work harder to supply blood around the body. With more and more people are suffering from obesity at an early age, it is not impossible if the age of patients with cardiovascular disease is becoming younger.


Cholesterol itself consists of two types; High Density Lipoprotein (HDL) that is often called good cholesterol and Low Density Lipoprotein (LDL) that is often called bad cholesterol. Metabolism and cardiac performance will be disturbed when the level of LDL in the blood is more than the HDL level. That is why, you should remember some foods that contain high cholesterol, such as egg yolk, brain, liver, lung, colon, crabs and shellfish.

The best way to keep the body from heart attack is to change your lifestyle with a balanced diet. Balanced diet can also be regarded as balanced food - daily food containing various nutrients in quantity and quality that is in accordance with body needs for optimal healthy living. Its composition consists of carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins, and minerals.

Food that contains carbohydrates includes rice, corn, sago, sweet potato and their processed products. Vegetable protein sources can be obtained from tempeh, tofu, legumes, whereas animal protein is from meat, eggs, chicken and fish. Meanwhile, the regulator sources are obtained from vegetables and fruits.

The completeness of nutrient intake is a necessity to keep the metabolism good. Meanwhile, the amount of food that is eaten depends on the age, gender and daily activities. At least, the concept of a balanced diet should be started from now by avoiding any food that can increase the fat and cholesterol level in the body.
