At first glance, the website for ChristiaNet looks a lot like the well known Craig's list. It features blogs, articles, news, classified ads and several job opportunities. A notable difference though would be the fact that as what its name may already suggest, it is a Christian website aimed to be an information, job and dating portal for Christian users. Based on reports from Quantcast, this website is one of the most visited resource sites out there generating an average of 352,000 views per month.

My first impression regarding the website is that it does indeed pack a lot of good information. It has a very simple and functional design. As a resource portal, sites such as these must not only be functional and pleasing in appearance but must possess valid postings at all times in order to make it useful for its users.

The great thing about ChristiaNet is that it does appear to be updated on a regular basis. Nothing can be more damaging to a resource site than the presence of a bunch of listings which are no longer current. However, take note that just because something is listed on ChristiaNet doesn't automatically mean that it is legitimate. You'll have to dig deeper and at least do a fair amount of research in order to validate the authenticity of any listings.

Now I initially intended to proceed with my review of this site by seeking out other existing review specifically with regards to the job and business opportunities listed on this resource site. However, I was unable to find anything pertaining to this and instead came across an article discussing the legitimate aspect of the dating area of this particular site.

The article used a survey function in order to discuss its findings and according to it, most of the people who responded to the said survey expressed their opinion about how risky the act of looking into the ads of dating website can be. It doesn't really matter what religious affiliation that these kind of site may have. The same thing can be said with regards to the job and business opportunities that may be listed on this particular site. It would be best to go through the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section of each listing and verify if that specific listing is being monitored actively before responding to it in any way.

Moving on to the home based business opportunity aspect of this particular site; there are certainly a lot of them so I won't go through each of them individually. A glance at its Home based business matching service though reveals five best programs for home based businesses listed under the "Work at Home" section of the site. There is also several business opportunities listed under this section although they do not seem to be very popular. Now all these listings do not seem to have any detail descriptions about the kind of work involved or the income potential of each particular system. It would have been nice to know for instance if a particular work at home system requires any significant investment on your part.

Thus it would be best to research and review the specifics of any home based business opportunity listed on this site before jumping in to any of it. Do not presume that just because it is listed on a religiously affiliated site such as ChristiaNet means that it is surely legitimate because this is certainly not true. ChristiaNet also does not function as an employment agency and does not offer any kind of assurance towards its job listings. Thus any user must exercise good judgment and thoroughly research a particular job opportunity before even considering it. This is true for any business opportunity regardless if it is listed on a religiously affiliated site or not.
