A Guide In Choosing The Right Tv
A lot of people have a hard time buying the perfect kind of television for them
.
Here are some basic guidelines to help you in choosing the type of TV you should pick:
Plasma TVs
As we all know, these are the older type of flat screen TV. This type of TV is generally affordable but only offers average size of screen (you may not like this if you prefer a much bigger TV). It also use gas that later on turns into plasma when an electronic current passed through it. After then, the plasma produces the light that creates the picture that youre seeing. The whole process will end into a high quality, realistic picture and does not have motion blur. Lastly, Plasma TV offers a wide viewing angle.
On the other hand, most Plasma screens have only a lifespan of about 10-15 years. Aside from that, it also uses a somewhat high amount of energy. This type of television is also a bit thick, spacious and of course heavy for their size.
LCD TVs
Unlike Plasma TVs, LCD TVs have a much longer lifespan. Actually it could last for 30 years or more and use less energy. It uses the same technology that your pocket calculator screen uses but with a backlit florescent light. Since you can get more with LCD TVs than in Plasma TVs, you will also spend more to avail them. But dont worry, since manufacturers have learned new methods in making them, the prices are now quickly falling. You can find cheap LCD TVs out in the market today.
Aside from having a lowest contrast level, these TVs often occurs blur motion. Unlike plasma tvs, the viewing angle of LCD TVs are narrower that is why is could be hard for you to find it a good location that offers a great view for every viewer.
LED TVs
These are the upgraded version of LCD TVs. They are based on similar technology as LCD screens but uses LED backlighting rather than fluorescent backlighting that could be found in traditional LCD screens. With its LED backlights, it could deliver more vibrant picture quality and are considerably less power use than those LCD TVs. Since this type of TVs offer a thin size, you could place it anywhere you may like.
However, note that LED TVs are definitely more expensive than LCD TVs since this type of television are considered to be the most reliable and state of the art.
