Do not to fill your wall or your friend's wall on Facebook with links to your opportunities as well. If you do want to market your company via Facebook, create a fan page in which interested clients can "like" if they want more information. Post all of your current specials and news on your designated page that has been created for the company or opportunity. When clients are interested in your products and opportunity, they will come to you.
Always follow-up. If you had a client who was interested and asked for information, give them at least two to three business days to think about it. Follow up with an email asking if they have any questions or concerns. If the client is interested, they will reply. When you don't follow up with a customer, you will never know if they were interested. Also, if a customer doesn't hear from you, they will think they you don't care about the products or services that you are offering. Follow-ups are important in any type of business.
Another good tip to keep in mind is to stay focused on the task on hand. When working on the Internet (or even from home), it is easy to take your attention elsewhere. Shut off your cell phone. Do not login to your personal Facebook or Twitter page. Refrain from checking your personal email. Only visit websites or social networks where your business is listed. There are so many other activities to do on the Internet, it is easy to lose your focus and get lose doing other mindless tasks. You should also not overwhelm yourself with more than one task to do. Stay focused on one client or one job at a time. This will make your opportunity run more smoothly.
