A Heated Discussion about GHD
The other day, I came across posts entitled rubbish GHD on line
. The main idea was about how the host was cheated into buying a costly GHD straightener, only to find it worked so badly. Out of my expectation, I myself have been using GHD for years; not once have I sensed anything goes wrong in its quality. On the contrary, I have recommended it to lots of friends. Most of them respond well. However, if anyone of them sees the post, not only I will lose my name, but also the credit of GHD will be reduced more or less. I'm not sure what the purpose of the invisible man is to make such ill comments on GHD. If he indeed feels cheated by purchasing the product, then it's faultless for him to stick to his right as a customer by pouring out complaints. But if there is something wrong with the product, not the brand, then his conduct is somewhat illegal. One possibility may be that he has bought the straightener from a different channel, other than direct market of GHD. Thus, it's very likely that he has bought a false one. After all, it's not uncommon in the society to copy and imitate designer goods. I, myself have once been persuaded into paying for a forgery of Chanel with the same price. But unlike the irritable man, I didn't rush to the Internet to gossip about what a bad quality Chanel has got, because even though I have done so, nobody would have believed my words. Chanel is Chanel, just as GHD is GHD; the wide popularity has been the best ad for them over time.

However, looking into the case, we may find out that there still exit holes in the net of our law and regulation. Why is there still poor quality for customers to complain about? Why is there frequent copy of well-known brands? Seeing from the perspective of industry giants, they are facing enormous challenges from all directions. From time to time, a consumer's appeal will spoil their credit promised to the public. Over time, it'll block their way, restrain their pace and thus take side effect on the operation of the whole economic system. For consumers, the complicated components of the market may make them confusing and over-sensitive. They're not sure about whether they have spent a large sum of money on a rightful thing or they have just taken part in a crime not deliberately. As far as I'm concerned, the essence of the problem lies in the lack of efficient supervisions. For the most severe stricken area by such crimes, more laws and regulations are expected to get through.
