Everyone at some point in their lives has to clean their home or have a home cleaner come in to clean it

. You can either clean your home or use a service home cleaner.

If you chose to clean you home yourself you will need to be armed with different types of home cleaner supplies. In order to insure you have all the supplies you will need to clean your home you should begin by making a list of exactly what you are going to clean. If you are going to clean your bathroom then you will need something to disinfect the toilets and the sinks and countertops. You will need a product to clean the floors with. You can use this same product to clean all the non-carpet floors in your home. You will also need a product that will take the scum off shower doors or tub walls. If you have shower curtains then you will need to wash those down regularly.

Next you may choose to clean the kitchen. You should at least wipe down all flat surfaces and the stove on a daily basis as this crud will accumulate quickly. After a while it takes longer to clean it than numerous times of wiping it down. A disinfectant is good for the sinks and counter tops. You should clean out the ice box on a regular basis. Spills and dripped food accumulate quickly here also and a sticky ice box is really unhealthy.

When cleaning the bedrooms you will need a vacuum cleaner for the carpets. Dust rags will come in handy to wipe down all the flat surfaces. A damp rag and some cleaner will take off al the finger prints on the furniture. You should also vacuum the drapery. Vinegar and water works for cleaning mirrors. It also works for any knick knacks or other collectable items that you have on display.


Probably the most used rooms are either the den or the living room and the dining room if you have one. You should be wiping down the dining or kitchen table daily to get rid of all the crumbs and fingerprints and spilled foods. Shelves need to be dusted. The furniture that is used daily will need to be vacuumed if fabric or wiped down if leather or wood. Cushions and sofa pillows should be shaken to get rid of any dust. Carpets need to be vacuumed. You should also dust the TV screen and any electronic equipment you may have in the rooms.

All of this should be done on a routine basis. You might consider having a professional home cleaner come in maybe every six months to some heavy duty cleaning. They would need to be scheduled in advance. You could use them to move furniture so they can clean under it. Maybe they could clean out all your closets. There are a lot of tasks they can perform that require two or more people to get your home clean.
