What is the houndstooth pattern?

The moment houndstooth textile came about is a bit of a mystery. This pattern of material originated in wool cloth used in the Scottish lowlands. The period it began being employed here is not documented, yet an early reported use of it was in 1933. The cloth pattern was used by De Pinna, a New York City based high end fashion business, for its springtime men's suit collection along with gun club checks and Scotch plaids.

The original houndstooth check is simply an interweaved textile made by four light and four dark strings in alternating bands. That is implemented in two over and two under the warp, advancing by one strand on each pass made.

That is what is considered the traditional houndstooth pattern. Within the universe of vinyl printing, this pattern may absolutely be produced on the vinyl; however, there is likewise room for many variances with the capabilities of printing now.
