Known as Paducah's picturesque playground, Bob Noble Park has provided visitors with over 80 years of recreational pastimes and is indispensable part of the local life. With 23 picnic shelters and an Olympic sized outdoor pool, sports courts and fishing lakes it also has an amphitheater. There is year round activity and was originally called Forest Park.

Paducah was originally called Pekin, and later renamed for a mostly Chickasaw named Chief Paduke. In 1996 Paducah Wall to Wall Murals was started by Robert Danford and his team on the flood wall in downtown Paducah. Over 50 murals depict the settlements history from Native Americans to the Lewis and Clark Expedition. The town also celebrates their local musicians during the annual Summer Festival.
