. Although the Nseries are considered by many as Nokia's best collection of mobile phones, many have stated that the XpressMusic mobile phones boasts its popularity in terms of affordability as well as its capability to deliver excellent audio compared to the Nseries.

Some of the best XpressMusic phones include the 5300, which is considered as the most popular brand of XpressMusic phones, and among one of the most favorite Nokia unit phones; 5310 which is known to have sold 10 million units across the world, making it one of the best selling mobile phones; and the 5130 which is one of the cheapest yet popular brand of XpressMusic. Today, Nokia have yet again unveiled a new set of XpressMusic mobile phones. One of which is the Nokia 5730 XpressMusic mobile phone.

The Nokia 5730 is one of the most unique mobile phone under the XpressMusic brands of mobile phone. Announced in March and released in June 2009, the mobile phone features a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, which is a unique feature for many XpressMusic mobile phones. Other than its QWERTY keyboard, it also features a dedicated camera, volume, music keys as well as gaming keys.

Similar to other new models of XpressMusic mobile phones such as the 5800, the 5730 is also known for its touchscreen capability with a basic accelerometer which acts as a tiltmeter to autorotate the display (in landscape or portrait mode). According to several cellphone Philippines enthusiasts, the mobile phone also features a Wi-Fi/801.2b-g/Wireless and LAN connectivity.

It runs on the Nokia's Symbian OS v9.3 S60 mobile phone platform. According to many cellphone Philippines enthusiasts, It is also very similar to the Nokia E75 model, the only difference being that the 5730 is dedicated to play music.

Another popular feature of the mobile phone is its screen, which has a 2.4" TFT (measured diagonally ) with a 240 by 320 pixel QVGA resolution. And like many other XpressMusic mobile phones, the Nokia 5730 also features a 3.5mm jack which allows regular earphones and headphones to be used.

Like many phones in its price range, it also includes a 3.15 megapixel camera (with Carl-Zeiss optics, LED flash and 30fps VGA recording) and A-GPS (with an integrated virtual compass to enable the map to autorotate to point north). According to many cellphone Philippines enthusiasts, the N-Gage interface is also assimilated, allowing users to try, purchase and play 3-D N-Gage games (which can be downloaded through the application).

Another popular feature of the phone is that it can also produce, read, and to a limited extent, edit files (only in an editor's version) from Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. PDF files can also be viewed via the pre-installed Adobe Reader LE 1.5.0 application.
