The 12 zodiac signs had their beginnings in astronomy, but it is now mainly in the world of astrology that you will find references to them in today's culture. There are many people who regularly look up their horoscope in the morning paper to see what the day is supposed to hold in store for them. There is another group of exact opposites who would not put much credence in horoscopes. Those people would consider it an absolute coincidence if there was ever any resemblance between the day they actually had and the day they read about at 7 a.m.

For example, people born under the sign of Cancer, are generally described as being complicated. At times Cancers can show great strength, but they can often be susceptible to hurt, much like children are.

It is likely that something can be said about zodiac signs and how they can be used to predict things like compatibility and day to day events. The non believers will stick with their own intuition since it has been said that Cancers make good psychics.
