The BlackBerry Curve 3G has become one the best models of the RIM and it is moving well in the market
. There has been a sudden raise in the sale of the Curve 3G in the recent past. The phone has a LCD display with a big QWWERTY keyboard. The keys present in the board are well separated and they have good amount of space as well. So operating them is bit easy and comfortable when compared to the other BlackBerry models. The Optical Track pad is also quite impressive with its performance.
The Connectivity is taken care by the Wi-Fi and 3G. The 3G present in the phone is quite impressive as the mobile is mainly made for it. The data upload and download speed was awesome and to be frank it was like working in a 4G phone. The YouTube videos loaded in a good speed without any delay. The phone comes with a built in GPS which is powered by the BlackBerry 5 OS. The company has promised that the handset will get the BlackBerry 6 OS pretty soon but the time frame is not yet been announced.
The camera present is a 2 Megapixels camera which is the drawback of this phone. The performance of the camera is not that much impressive as the pictures were not good. There is a microSD card slot which helps in expanding the memory of the phone. A 3.5mm headset jack is present on the top of the phone.
The call quality is quite good when compared to other BlackBerry phones but still few instances of call drop was witnessed. Some of the users reported about the noise during the call in few situations but this problem was not reported by many.
The overall rating would be 3 out of 5 as the Curve 3G has few issues like poor image quality and noise distractions during call.
