A New-build Home In Warwickshire Provides A Sound Investment Choice

With interest rates being at an all-time low, Mark Curtlin and Angela Wooding were

unhappy with the rate of return they were getting from their bank savings and, already having one investment property that was providing a good return, they decided it was the right time to buy another. After much consideration about where to invest their savings, the couple opted for a new-build home in Warwickshire, at Church View in Southam from Banner Homes.

Angela comments: "We brought our first investment property a couple of years ago and have been getting a good rate of return on our money. When Banner Homes launched its development, Church View in Southam, we decided to take a look, but felt we weren't in a position to buy another property. However recently, with interest rates still low and our investments not growing we decided to look into it again. Our first property was 20 years old and needed a lot of work being done to it before we were able to rent it out, so the thought of buying a brand new home for investment was extremely appealing.

She adds: "We decided to have another look at Church View in Southam and were extremely impressed with what we saw. The quality of build of the homes was excellent and the home we particularly liked was light and airy with views of the fields behind the property. The home also had two parking spaces which is quite unusual for new homes in Warwickshire. Southam is an excellent place to buy investment property because it has great transport links and a good selection of education from nursery schools through to primary and secondary schools."

Church View on Wattons Lane is a selection of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes, designed to blend seamlessly into their inviting location in the historic market town of Southam, set in the heart of the Warwickshire countryside. The homes combine contemporary interiors with traditional architecture. The final two homes in the Church View development have just been reserved.

Angela continues: "Everything in the home has been finished to such a high standard so it meant we have had no work to do and it can be let straight away. Light fittings and carpets were also included, so we didn't have additional expense for those. We are delighted with the home and already have interest from professionals wishing to rent it. This is definitely a long-term investment for us and we feel we made the right choice."
