A Night Of Scary Halloween Terror

Gloria looked at her calendar and realized that she was only one month away from Halloween

. The last few years in her neighborhood she had been the one hosting Halloween parties that had been a blast for everybody. She always had amazing group costume ideas for not only her family, but for the entire neighborhood. This year was not quite that way.

Gloria's children have different tastes. She had one son that was huge into space, but she also had three other children to worry about. She tried to get each of them a voice in what the costume was going to be for that particular Halloween year.

Four kids means for different ideas on what Halloween costumes should look like. Gloria had dealt with each of their individual likes for years. Her boys were completely into anything scary, and each year they wanted to be Martians. Her girls were into pink, and had a huge fascination for makeup. Therefore, trying to piece together a costume with all of those different styles was always very hard.

This year Gloria needed extra help so she took all of her children to a costume store. She was hoping the kids would point out something that would give her ideas. When she realized that each kid had such a different idea from the other, she realized that this visit to the costume store was not going to give her any help or ideas.

As a mother Gloria relied on the Internet for information all the time when he came to parenting. She had found several different websites that always had great advice and tips. She quickly went to those websites hoping that she could find some type of costume idea, but never found anything that was going to work for her family. Gloria was not frustrated, but hoping something would jump into her brain soon, so that she would be able to get her family ready for Halloween.

Gloria always had to struggle with her husband to get involved. Her husband was not really into Halloween and only dressed up because his kids wanted him to. She never pushed her husband to participate, and never expected him to help, but this year she was hoping he would have a suggestion. That ended up not being the case.

As Halloween was rapidly approaching Gloria still did not have anything for costumes ready to go. She was going to have to throw together something really quick and easy. She finally decided that the entire family was going to be a scary monster of their choice. Her boys were really happy about this choice because they could get fake blood. The girls were happy because they could get wigs that were really long, and he could put on lots of makeup. Gloria's husband was relieved because he didn't have to put on anything silly, and embarrass himself too much.

The Halloween party went off without a hitch. Everyone had a good time and enjoyed all of the food and candy. Next year Gloria planned on spending more time thinking of group costume ideas.
