Bio identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT)
, also known as natural hormone therapy, refers to the use of hormones that are identical on molecular basis. The term is also linked up with pharmacy, compounding, blood and saliva testing which is an effort to reach the specific level of hormones in the body. Hormones included in BHRT are estrone, estradiol, progesterone, testosterone, dehydroepiandrosterone and estriol.
