First up is the Shark Steam Mop. Nearly everyone is familiar with this one because of the TV exposure that it gets. The Shark can now be found many places for around $50-60 which is below suggested retail. This makes it one of the most affordable choices you can buy. Quite a few people have used this steam mop and been pleased with the results it gives but nearly as many had complaints about it. Broken handles, mops that quit steaming, a small water tank, and streaking are a few problems with this mop.

Next up is the Eureka Enviro Steamer. This mop is priced around what you can buy the Shark for. It does have a lot more good reviews from customers than the Shark does though. It has a decent size water tank that gives you anywhere from fifteen to twenty minutes of steam cleaning time. It comes with a fill cup and funnel that make the mop easy to fill. A high profile is really the only problem that can be found with this mop. It makes it hard to clean under cabinets and such but other than that, this is a very solid, well built steam mop and a good choice for the price.

Finally, there is the Haan Steam Mop. This one typically costs a little more than the Eureka and Shark but it has more features too. That's because it has a sanitizing tray that lets you clean and sanitize carpets, mattresses, and fabric surfaces. Haan also has very nice mop pads for their steam mop. They are thick microfiber pads with a velcro back. They are very easy to attach. This steam mop got mostly positive reviews and is worth looking into and considering.

So there is a quick rundown of three of the top steam mops you can purchase. I recommend skipping the Shark and considering the Haan or Eureka. Read customer reviews and go with the steam mop that feels right for you.
