A Review Of The Music Of Aaron Walton.
Aaron Walton is a singer, songwriter, musician
, and record producer located in Kansas City, Missouri. Aaron has been involved with music since the early age of 5 years old. He started his passion for music by playing drums until the age of 13 when he fell in love with piano and from there progressed on to vocals. Aaron was the front man for a couple electronica bands in the late 90s called Tek Tek Tek and Trans Atlantic Crush before deciding to venture out on his own and become a solo artist. Since going solo he has released a self-titled album Aaron L. Walton. This album showcases his talents in the arena of being a singer/songwriter. Not only was the album written by Aaron, but all the music was played by Aaron, as well as produced, mixed, mastered, and engineered by him as well. Anyone in the music business knows that this is no small feat. In a recent interview, Mr. Walton was cited as saying that he loved the experience very much, and hopes to continue down this path and exploration of music. I have spoken to a few of Aaron fans and asked them what it is about his music that draws them in. The responses varied. One person stated it was the passion that comes through in the music. Another person said it was how they could sense the real sincerity in his words and in the music. I too have to admit that after playing Aarons CD in my car it is has now been on repeat for days. Each time I listen to it, something new seems to pop out at me that I missed before. I find it to be very soothing and at the same time take me to a place of deep thought and nostalgia. I am looking forward to the new work that Aaron puts out in the future. In the meantime, I highly recommend buying his first album. His music is an interesting blend of Adult Contemporary Pop and Traditional Pop, which appeals to a broad demographic market from ages 18 to 80. Aarons music can be found on iTunes as well as many other online sites including CD Baby. I am hoping to soon see Aaron play live. I imagine that if he can convey live as well as what he does in the studio that it would be a very enthralling show.
