A Stay At Sea Resort In Alleppey

My leave for a week had just been approved and I was very excited to travel to Kerala for a friend's wedding

. He had arranged my stay in one of the budget resorts in Alleppey as it was very close to the wedding venue, but I forgot to ask its name. I spent an entire day shopping for all essential items before taking a flight to Kerala. After a pleasant and relaxing journey, I stepped outside Kochi airport to see that my friend was already waiting for me with a car. While driving towards the resort, he told me that Panoramic Sea Resort would be my home for next few days. He also said my room was a sea facing one, which doubled my excitement. I could not wait any longer to get to the resort and find out whether my friend was actually telling me the truth or playing a prank on me.

It was the most exciting ride I had ever taken in my life as there was a bit of surprise element in store for me. We were soon at the gates of Panoramic Sea Resort and I was taken aback with the beautiful villa-type accommodations that were made available by the resort for its guests. Soon, my friend and I were accompanied by the resort staff to have a look at my room. As my friend's father knew about all budget resorts in Alleppey and the facilities that they have in store for their guests, he had suggested the name of this resort. My room was an air-conditioned one and it had been provided with an internet access, daily newspaper, satellite television, bathrobe and many other things that a traveler would ask for. Having witnessed it myself, I felt assured that my stay would be memorable. My friend bade farewell to me as he left the room, and it was time for me to have a nice, peaceful sleep.

A day later, it was time for me to attend my friend's wedding and I headed towards the venue early in the morning. The nuptial took place in a temple which had beautiful architecture, well decorated with images of Gods. After tying the knot, the couple arrived in a hall nearby as reception was about to begin. I relished all delicacies that were served in banana leaves, but 'paysam' was the most delicious. After a memorable marriage ceremony, I made my way towards Panoramic Sea Resort with an intense longing to view a starry sky. This wish was fulfilled when I reached my room and went out to have a walk at night after resting for some time. The next two days were spent visiting various tourist attractions nearby. Finally, when I got ready to check out of the hotel, my friend arrived with his wife to say goodbye and drop me to the airport. While being seated in his car, I looked outside to see all greeneries for one last time. My short stay in Alleppey had ended, but the wish remained to come back once again someday.
