A Talking Garbage Truck And Kung Fu Hamsters To Be This Years Christmas Hits

Christmas is the toy industry's biggest and best time of year

, so naturally they plan months and even years in advance. UK toy retailer Hamley's has already released their list of hot toys for the year and is predicting what your kids will be demanding from santa as it nears Christmas, so much so that searches for certain products have risen in Google when they toy isn't even out yet, talk about creating a buzz about your products, but will this hysteria last until the end of the year and keep demand high.

Hamley's has predicted a new toy will be the best selling toy of the year, he is part of an existing line but as yet there has been no mention of this character until now. Stinky the garbage truck will be joining the big rig buddies and his pals such as Rocky the robot truck as an all singing all dancing big toy for little kids. He eats trucks, he eats garbage and he farts and sings, sounds like a perfect toy for little kids. Stinky interacts with children and knows when he isn't being played. When he detects this, he will go to sleep and start snoring. Although the toy is out in the US it hasn't yet been released in the UK but should be out in July.

Kung fu hamsters, no i'm not crazy, the Kung Zhu pets are joining the Zhu Zhu Pet toy line that was such a sell out hit last Christmas, but this time the Kung Zhu pets are aimed at boys. They have armour and weapons and attack each other in battle arenas. If these do as well as Zhu Zhu Pets last year you can be sure you will be seeing them everywhere over Christmas. The Kung Zhu pets are already out but expect more figures, tanks and other extra's to the line to be added nearer Christmas time but it will be interesting to see if zhu zhu pets can grab a share of the boys toys market as well as it grabbed the toy market last year.

One of the richer kids is the most expensive toy in the list and its a 460 pound scale mini Ferrari car that has 2 gears, and a reverse gear so it can be driven around like a real car. It has a top speed of 5 miles per hour which is just fast enough for kids to have a little driving fun but not quite fast enough for the road.

As always there are toys that should be a big seller every year, this includes the brand new Buzz Lightyear toy with rocket boosters, and well as other new toys in the Toy Story 3 toy range. These all tie into the just released Toy Story movie and are sure to be a big hit. Hopefully Buzz will sell as well as he did all those years ago when toy story was first released and he becaome one of the original in demand hard to find toys. There are new toys in the Ben 10 range, with a Ben 10 Ultimate Omnitrix Ultimatrix which actually contains a watch and can be worn on the wrist and fits in with the new Ben 10 Ultimate Alien TV show which has more of Ben's alien super hero adventures.

All these toys are set to take the toy business by storm, we'll have to wait until christmas to see which ones end up selling the best.
