What It Does

Like any other fat, the emu oil is composed of a variety of fatty acids (mostly oleic, with small traces of palmitic, linoleic and stearic acids). The natives believe that chemistry of emu oil make it good for the skin and hair. It is believed to improve skin cell regeneration and revitalise the hair follicles on the scalp. Both of these processes contribute to hair growth stimulation. Aside from that, emu oil is suitable for all types of hair and is an excellent moisturiser.

How to Apply

As a thinning hair treatment, pour a small amount of oil on the palm of your hands and rub your hands together. Then, rub your palms against your hair. Also, put a few drops of the oil on your scalp and massage for better penetration. Next, cover your hair with a towel or a shower cap. Leave it for at least 10 minutes and rinse it off thoroughly with shampoo.
