Why do I want to be a medical transcriptionist

? The reasons are clear. I have wanted to be a medical transcriptionist for so long I can hardly stand it. I love the medical profession, and every aspect of it. I love the fact that I would be typing something for someone that is important that could go into someones chart that could help someone somewhere down in their life. I would love being a medical transcriptionist. You could help so many people in a indirect way. What I mean is helping the doctor, help the patient, its so gratifying. Just by a few sentences, a few words could mean so much to someone and yet can help save a persons life. Thats so great. It all started when I was a child, and I wanted to do something in the medical profession and I didnt know what I wanted to do. I volunteered at a local hospital and watched a medical transcriptionist at work one day. She was so great. She was patient and showed me what she does during the day and some of the tips that she uses on a daily basis. She was so great and patient, she made me want to become one right away. As time went on and I grew up, my dream was lost and I completely forgot about this wonderful way of life; until one day when I ran across a web site. I saw that Future MT was giving away a scholarship for online medical transcription course and I thought maybe this way I still have a chance to make my dream come alive after all. I was so excited and thrilled that I wanted to sit down and start telling my story after all, in hopes that maybe I would see some hopes come true after all this time. Now have plans to one day to open up my own business from home and I am looking at my future as bright and shiny. SN:0TG9Y2ESY

Now, its just a matter of time before I start the medical transcription program and I start my days all excited that I am going to start the medical transcription program soon and soon Ill be working and Ill have my life turned around with more than enough work to do and contacts made. Oh, how exciting! This makes my present way of life very dull at the moment by comparison. Its hard to go to work day after day to the same old job when I could be doing something exciting and interesting such as medical transcription.
