The network marketing industry is a tough place to make a full time income online. A turnkey internet business shares some things in common with network marketing but also gives the little guy, at the bottom of the downline, an opportunity to build a profitable internet business that they can call their own.

You must have seen the ads that promise you the earth for under $50. Or the latest new company that guarantees you an automatic downline. Then there are the shiny new opportunities that try to tempt you in at ground floor level.

There is a dilemma then for someone new who is looking to join a network marketing company. Either join a well established company that has a good reputation but you are right at the bottom of the downline. Or join a new company at ground floor level which has less distributors which gives you a better chance at earning decent money.

However, these newer companies will have little reputation in the marketplace. This would in mean it would be harder to attract more distributors to add to your own downline.

So what is the difference between a network marketing company and a turnkey internet business? In my opinion, it is the difference between struggling to start making money online and being able to succeed with an internet home business. Similar to a small business franchise, when you buy an internet business, you are buying a complete business in a box.

When you join most network marketing companies, all you receive is a link of your own to promote so others will join you. You then receive a percentage of their sales. This is like a dog chasing its own tail. Your success depends on the success of other total newbies like yourself.

An internet business opportunity levels the playing field for the newbie trying to make a full time income online. You do not depend on others for you to be successful. There is no free lunch in this world and any attempt at making money online will involve some hard work on your part.

A turnkey internet business does need to be set up and made your own before you start marketing your business opportunity and products. However, as well as including every aspect of a new business idea that you could think of such as customer support, a way to receive payments and all the technical web stuff, once set up, your internet business opportunity will virtually run itself. That is why it is turn-key.
