ADSL/ADSL2+ Tester Packed with Multiple Powerful Functions
ADSL/ADSL2+ Tester Packed with Multiple Powerful Functions
Toronto, Canada - GAO Comm (www.GAOComm.com) has released its handheld ADSL/ADSL2+ tester with a maximum transmission distance of 6.5km. It is designed for the installation and maintenance of ADSL/ADSL2+ networks. The tester performs upstream and downstream rate measurements, error count, digital multimeter (DMM) testing, MODEM simulation and PING and trace testing. Its portable design, simple operation and multi-function features make it an invaluable tool for field use.
This advanced ADSL/ADSL2+ tester, model 5856, is compliant with ADSL, ITU G.992.3, ITU G.992.4, ADSL2+ and ITU G.992 Annex A, Annex B, Annex C, Annex L and Annex M line standards. It determines the type of an ADSL line being tested, automatically matches it to the corresponding ADSL line standard and then carries out tests accordingly. DMM parameters such as AC/DC voltage, loop feeding current, loop resistance testing, line capacitance and line insulation resistance can also be tested. The ADSL/ADSL2+ tester has a 24Mb/s downstream rate and an upstream rate of 1.2Mb/s. It displays ADSL line connection conditions on a real time basis on its high resolution backlit LCD screen. Additionally, the tester provides status indication for LAN LINK/CRIVE, WAN Link/ACTIVE and low battery voltage.
