Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation is committed to provide a safe and secure transit services to its passengers. With a fleet pf over 18,000 buses, APSRTC covers almost seven million kilometers everyday carrying more than 126 million passengers to their destinations. The corporation runs intercity, inter-district and interstate buses and connects even remotely located areas of Andhra Pradesh.

Having a total road network of 178,484 kilometers, the corporation also operates interstate routes connecting neighboring states of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Orissa.

APSRTC runs several types of buses including ordinary buses, sleeper buses, semi-deluxe and deluxe buses, air conditioned coaches, express coaches and special buses in order to cater to the unique needs of the commuters. Tickets can be booked depending upon passenger requirements and budget.

The bus tickets can be booked either through travel agents or from tickets counters at bus depots. A special service of APSRTC online reservation allows you to book tickets on internet from anywhere in the world. Now you no longer need to stand in long queues outside the bus depots to book your tickets.

In addition to this, the corporation allows freedom fighters of Andhra Pradesh aged 65 and above to travel free in these buses. Physically disabled people, girl students up to the age of 18 and students below the age of ten years are also allowed to travel free in state road buses.
