ASUS Eee PC 1015PN-PU17-BK 10.1-Inch Netbook Review
It is this netbook a few days ago and I must say that out of the box, it's pretty disappointing. First, Windows 7. This team is not designed for use with a very limited operating system. I really want to make at least Home Premium Optimus (automated graphic). Second, only 1 GB of RAM. Do not think you should explain why it is a mistake.
Fortunately, I had to upgrade to Windows 7 on my old laptop. The first thing I did was a fresh install of Windows 7 Premium to get rid of all bloatware asus Optimus and find work. First of all, this team is a great film out of the box. Read a lot of complaints and hardcore PC and with the exception of the high-resolution screen, but honestly, I do not see a problem with the current screen, considering how small it is.
Install Firefox (browser dialog) and continue to receive negative mood on this computer. Firefox has become a consumer of resources in years (that's the price you pay for the renewal of the first degree). I decided that I really need to get the maximum RAM (2gig) to update. I installed new RAM and now this team is absolutely fantastic. Scientific evidence does not run on battery power via a standard web browser and a little "to see the film. The battery lasts about 6-7 hours to 5% of the capacity to achieve.
Install more RAM was a real problem, in my opinion. Is a small cap at the bottom and one screw to access the RAM. All looks great and simple at first, but then turn the screw and understand that only the government screw that pushes upward. You can drag the door, but do not stir. I had a small screwdriver, a leap of faith on my new computer to take over, and slowly my way through the door, hoping to stop completely, at any time and leave. The door was like a crazy approach to break half a few points, but I managed to solve. Looking at the bottom of the door explained the situation much clearer. Asus inexplicably decided to unnecessarily teeth on both sides to team to keep him. We can do well and hooks on one side and screw on the other hand, as in most laptops. While modders beware! Prepare for extreme fear and equipment failure can result if you decide to upgrade the memory. I'm really glad that at most the type of RAM and 2 GB, because it means that never-to-door.
Normally, this device is impressive in light of the box user but also an excellent starting point when looking for a netbook powerful enough and willing to invest a little "above .
