The Abarth which is an Italian racing car founded in 1949 in Turin by Carlo Abarth and Armando Scagliarini. As well as racing cars, Abarth also produced high performance exhaust pipes and tuning kits. Abarth was also associated with Porsche and Simca in producing sports and racing cars.

In 1931 Abarth was sold to Fiat, Preparing fiat group's rally cars like Fiat 124 Abarth and 131 Abarth and becoming the racing department of Fiat. Many models built by Fiat were co-branded Abarth, and the most famous one was the Autobainchi A112 Abarth.
