About An Iphone Battery Replacement
If you own an iPhone you're probably worried about replacing the battery
. The reason for this is that you can't replace the iPhone's battery. The battery is in the iPhone. You have to send the iPhone to the Apple Store to get an iPhone battery replacement.
Most users are somewhat upset about not being able to replace their one battery in their iPhone but there is nothing they can do about it. The iPhone's developers are still trying to figure out a way to expand the iPhone's capabilities, including a replaceable battery. It seems everyone wants to figure out how replace the battery in the iPhone without having to return it to Apple.
Many of the first customers who bought the iPhone didn't know that the battery wasn't replaceable. They simply wanted the iPhone because of its digital camera and the fact that it was Internet capable. Apple posted a battery replacement procedure on its official website after the iPhones were in the market. Apple iPhone and iPod users must follow the same procedures to get a battery replaced.
When you send your iPhone to the battery service provider it takes three days to get the battery replaced. The service cost is at least $70 plus a shipping cost of $6.95. However, Apple does offer an iPhone loaner for $29. You can use the iPhone loaner for three days while your iPhone is getting the battery replaced by the service provider. Remember that after your iPhone's battery is replaced, this will eliminate all the data on the iPhone. You should ensure that prior to sending your iPhone to the service provider that you've backed up your important data such as contact, photos, account settings, text messages, and music files. Apple can't be held responsible for any data that is lost and it is also highly recommended that you remove all of your iPhone accessories prior to having the battery replaced.
Currently, there are independent battery service providers that aren't related to Apple who charge lower fees and they also provide battery packs. These battery packs are now widely available but if you decide to use this alternative, you have to have a soldering iron to replace your iPhone battery. However, if you have the 3G iPhone, the battery pack won't work and you will first have to contact Apple.
Therefore, if you have an iPhone that need a battery replaced you can either purchase a do it yourself battery pack or contact Apple battery service.
