The Forbidden City is also known as the Palace Museum and has been declared as the UNESCO world Heritage Site. Apart from this there are other museums in Beijing as well. Beijing is also an international seat of learning with its three well known universities, namely, Tsinghua University, the Beijing University and the Renmin University of China. Beijing has been able to make its mark in the world through centuries and surely it will maintain this tradition for the years to come.
