About Street Photography

gadha.org is a photo blog site, which is started with a vision of showing some great extract of photography executed by the professional photographer. A photo blog is a form of photo sharing which is published in the format of a blog. The main focus of a photo blog is on the photographs instead of text literature. Sometimes pictures tend to be more informative than the text contents and hence photo blogging is getting popularity these days. With the advent of moblog (mobile blogs) and camera phones leads to great momentum in the field of photo blogging.

The general idea behind starting the photo blogging is that someone wants to convey important message not in the form of text literature but in the form of photos. There are three basic types of photo blogs. Photoblogs on individual domains, photo blogs on blogging services such asBlogger that were designed primarily for text content, and photoblogs on photo specific blogging services such as Flickr. Street photography is one of the useful ways of getting some nice shots that can be put into the format of blog and should be shared to get views of others about your creative work.

The early days of photo blogging required some level of technical experience with setting up a webserver and installing or writing the CMS (Content Management Services) code for it. Many photo bloggers still prefer this option of running their own server, as this gives them full control over the display and functionality of their photo blog. Convergence of mobile phones with digital cameras has opened a new era in photo blogging as authors may publish photos directly from smart devices to the Web. Visual blogging enables people with limited English, or low literacy to contribute to material on the Web.

The photo blogging community has grown steadily over the past few years. As this continues to happen, people get to know each other and local photo blogger groups start to form in various cities throughout the world. Once these groups gain some momentum, it becomes apparent that each group might want its own place on the web to communicate, announce meetings, and share local knowledge. The purpose of gadha.org is to build a useful group of bloggers so that something informative and interesting should be easily shared among the members of the group.

Photo sharing services like Flickrencourage users to share their photos withtheir friends, family, and the world. Photoblogs are easy to set up and maintain, and they make great photo galleries for photographers who are put off by the complexity of HTML coding or installing a CMS.
