So, the next answer is raising money with new ideas. The extra cash helps to make ends meet at the end of the month for a family or sends students on an adventure they would otherwise miss. One of the quickest and easiest ways to raise money is with a bake sale. Bake bread, cupcakes, whole cakes and packages of cookies. Use items from your own cupboard or ask for donations from friends and family. All items should be as fresh as possible, wrapped in clear plastic and cheap. Do not over price any one item that would prevent a possible sale. Selling every item is the goal in order to have as much money as possible without waste.

The most common place for a bake sale to take place is in front of the local grocery store, but school events, church events and even private businesses will welcome good food for a low price. Be honest with the reason the money is needed when you approach the businesses you want to set the bake sale near. Many times they will help promote sales through their own donations and purchases.

If the sale goes well, make arrangement for another one in the near future. A good bake sale business can lead repeat customers willing to buy fresh from an individual and provide a continuing income. Add items as requested or substitute sugar free baked goods for a healthier selection.
