For instance the Atkins program for the first 2 weeks only allows just 20grams of net carbohydrates per day. This low level of carbohydrates is too severe for the average dieter to tolerate for a 2 week period. This often leads to the person feeling weak and miserable because the body requires more carbohydrates for energy.
A successful diet needs to be easy to follow. This is the only way that people will adhere to the diet and be successful in reducing their weight.
