Access4artists Provides Its Members With Career-launching Opportunities

DETROIT, Mich

DETROIT, Mich. SEPTEMBER 18, 2012- Access4Artists today announced their Sept. contest, awarding an unsigned artist the opportunity to perform at the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) 2013 Urban Music Showcase. ASCAP is the leading U.S. Performing Rights Organization representing more than 435,000 songwriters, composers and music publishers.

Access4Artists is the newest online talent discovery platform, providing artists a free online space to promote their work and connect with fans, earning them the chance to get in front of high-profile industry leaders that could potentially launch their career.

Access4Artists is proud to be working with ASCAP to provide one of our independent artists the opportunity to perform at the 2013 Urban Music Showcase, said Kiate Moy, founder and CEO of Access4Artists. Working with ASCAP will be beneficial to our members as they use their talents to launch their careers.

Access4Artists members are encouraged to submit their best video performance for a chance to perform at the Urban Music Showcase being held in January 2013 in Nashville Tenn. Artists must submit their video by Sept. 23 with fan voting taking place through Sept. 30.

Fans can make their voice heard by voting for their favorite video at access4artists.com. The three artists with the most votes will be finalists in the contest. On Oct. 4, ASCAP Urban Music Judges and Access4Artists will collaborate to select the first and second place winners.

Access4Artists and ASCAP will award the first place winner a trip to Nashville, Tenn. with hotel and airfare provided, where they will perform at the ASCAP Urban Music Showcase.

The second place winner will receive an ASCAP membership, in addition to an interview that will be published on the Access4Artists blog.
