Acer is preparing to launch their product that is going to compete against the likes of the HTC Desire HD, but will be costing around the same price as the HTC Desire. This will not only be competing against the HTC product only, but also against the plenty of competition that has grown up considerably in the last few years. The launch of the Acer Liquid mt will be redefining the contest in the high-end smartphone segment is mainly because of the fact that this phone will not be priced in the same way as the competition is. Instead, it is expected to be offered at a much more affordable price without compromises on the features.

One of the features that certainly do not seem to be compromised is the 3.6 inch touch screen display. This display uses the capacitive technology along with the resolution of 480 by 800 pixels to bring you the best in terms of the image and user-friendliness. One will be able to enjoy the full advantage of having a capacitive display while browsing on the Internet. Given that the phone runs on the Android 2.2 operating system, it will be having a fantastic web browser as standard. Also, with the decent amount of Java supports that the phone provides, you will be able to run most of them Flash applications that will present in the websites of today. Also, it will be having plenty of applications coming with the phone as standard, which would mean that you need not visit any online store in order to get the applications that you need the most. The recharging time of the phone will be drastically reduced partly due to the presence of a powerful 1500 mAh battery that provides more than 11 hours of talk time. It could also be down to the efficient processor as well. The battery will also be taking care of the five megapixel camera in the phone that has quite a lot of options as standard. Even though the most captivating option of all has to be the 720p HD video recording option, other useful features include the likes of the face detection, image stabilisation and so on. The Acer Liquid mt has just been launched by Acer and it is expected to be available in the UK by April. Even though the tentative launch date has been revealed, the prices have not been done so.
