But some studies show that acesulfame in some female rats which were fed with this substance for a long period developed breast tumors while the effects on other rats were inconclusive. This may also stimulate insulin production so it is not advisable for diabetic patients.

Acesulfame potassium supplies low calorie and manes the caloric intake. It can be used in any food substance from normal temperature to high temperature. Its taste and structure does not change. Since it is 200 times sweeter than normal sugar, it is used in very small quantity. Its taste is more appealing than any other sweeteners.

Since the studies have no clear evidence on the bad effects, it can be used by all people. It is stable in nature and it retains sweetness for a long period. All over the world, this sweetener is used in more than 4000 products that is, from candies to salads.

It is said that this chemical is safe to use on all sorts of people. It has not been found allergic to any persons; even pregnant women can use this. But it has a very low calorie supplement and it is advisable to use good food supplement while using this sweetener. FDA suggests that the usage of this substance should be only 15 milligram per kilogram of body weight. Since Acesulfame potassium has no by products, it can be stored under normal conditions.
