Do this every day, and soon the oatmeal closes up your pores, allowing the acne scars to disappear.

Another natural remedy that works well is honey. It is applied like the oatmeal paste, and after ten minutes, rinse the honey off with water. The honey deals with the bacteria that is known to cause the acne in the first place.

There are other lotions and gels, some natural and some not, that can be purchased at your local drug stores, or health food stores, that have been having good results in treating your ance scars.

A different type of treatment for acne scars is laser resurfacing. A laser is directed to the affected skin, and it kills the bacteria that causes the acne. The process may only take a few minutes of the laser, but could take a week or more for healing of the skin.

As with anything else, not everything works for everybody, so you will need a little trial and error to find the right one. Some of the treatments are not very expensive, so try those first. Acne scars are not pleasant to live with, so a natural remedy could be the best thing
