Another place that you commonly see mosaics in homes today is in the center of the floor, like a centerpiece. It may be a custom crest or some other nice looking center piece that nicely matches the style of the home.

However, you can find these beautiful pieces of art work in all different areas of a home. The imagination of the homeowner and/or designer are the only limit to where you may see one. You may see one hung on the wall as a piece of art or even in the bathroom on the wall in the shower.

This is a great way to add some flavor to a home and really fancy the home up. In some circles, this is seen as a sign of wealth because they are perceived to be expensive and only purchased by those who have a lot of money and can afford them. While this is not necessarily the case, that is the perception. This can be good and bad. This is good when it comes time to sell the home and bad when your neighbors see you as a stuck up snob because of it. That situation can be overcome though and so a homeowner should not hesitate to install them in their home because of this. They are beautiful and can add a touch of class to any home, especially that dream home that you have always wanted.
