Adding the Bakugan Mobile Assault To the Battle
Adding the Bakugan Mobile Assault To the Battle
An exciting addition to the collections of Bakugan lovers and brawlers in its third season is the Bakugan Mobile Assault. These are a generally considered battle gears, only they are a unique and different kind of battle gears. They are also considered as equivalents to the Bakugan Trap and the other normal Bakugan Battle Gear as support devices to the Bakugan when in battle. There's more to them than just being a different kind of support system for the Bakugan however.
Let's tackle first the difference between the Bakugan Mobile Assault and the usual battle gears. Bakugan Battle Gears came out with the third season Bakugan, the Gundalian Invaders Bakugan. They were created to serve as weaponries that were carried by the Bakugan. Reality-wise, we put the battle gears on the back of the opened forms of the Bakugan. The Mobile Assault, on the other hand, was meant to be ridden, not carried. They served as vehicles that not only carry the Bakugan but also provide more power and brawling support.
With this distinction, we can assume that unlike the normal battle gears, the Bakugan Mobile Assault is compatible to any Bakugan. Bakugan Battle Gears can normally only be used on specific Bakugan that have holds on their backs. The Mobile Assault vehicles, however, can be used by any Bakugan, whether or not they have holds on them or not.
Another difference between the battle gears and the Mobile Assault is the Attributes they use. The Bakugan Battle Gears have their own Attributes --- gold, silver, and copper. It had been like this ever since the first of them were released. The Bakugan Mobile Assault, however, followed the usual six Attributes --- pyrus, darkus, haos, aquos, ventus, and subterra. This means that the mobile assault vehicle used should match the Bakugan you are using when in battle.
Differences aside, we use the mobile assault vehicles the same way we use battle gears when brawling. The Bakugan Mobile Assault also comes with a Reference Card with its abilities and on which kinds of Gate cards they can be used in. Remember that in adding firepower to a Bakugan when brawling, we are only allowed to add two support gear --- either 2 Traps, 2 Battle Gears, or 2 BMAs, or a Trap/BMA, Battle Gear/BMA, or Trap/Battle Gear combo.
When playing with the Bakugan Mobile Assault, we put the Bakugan on the vehicle (with the same Attribute) and then roll it onto the metal Gate Card. The Bakugan will increase its power level by the Mobile Assault's G-power, but this is so only when the Mobile Assault is on a Gate card that is included on the types of Gates listed on the Reference Card. There are three Gates --- gold, silver, and copper --- and there are usually two listed on the Reference Cards. If it is used on a Gate card that is not listed on the Reference Card, the Mobile Assault will be destroyed, or removed from the game. When the Mobile Assault is removed, the Bakugan will be left on the Gate card and will continue to battle without the support of the vehicle.
