Adrenal Exhaustion Leads to Depression

It is very likely that you are suffering from depression from adrenal exhaustion, because it is one of the major symptoms. I am not cured, but have gotten better and then regressed somewhat during the past 3 months of high stress. I am doing better today since my stress has gone down a bit.

I would recommend trying Drenamin by Standard Process. Most Chiropractors and health food stores carry this brand, although you may have to ask for it at the health food store. Mine keeps it in a closed cupboard because it is only supposed to be sold through a professional health practitioner. Thytrophin is also good to take with this if your Thyroid is taking over for your adrenal gland (as it often does).

You should trying to control your stress, eating properly, drinking enough, getting enough salt, having a protein snack between meals (like a small handful of nuts), not exercising (except for taking walks or other mild exercise while you keep your heart rate to about 170 minus your age), and drinking plenty of water along with the Drenamin and Thytrophin are the best things you can do. Basically, don't do anything that exhausts your adrenal gland further. Give it a break and let it recover. It is very difficult to do this in our world of fast living, though.

I have not succeeded in years. However, I am doing much better since starting the anti-yeast diet. I had both problems all along but didn't know it. That is likely why I still felt poor. Now, I am feeling much better. The Drenamin changed me from a slug (chronic fatigue and aches) to being able to be on the go from about 7:45 am to 10:30 pm without much fatigue at all (with high stress and 3 little kids). I imagine it could help with the depression if that is the root of your problem.

You know, the more I learn about the body, the more compassion I have for people. If you see so many people are living on the street, taking drugs, committing crimes, angry, depressed, mentally ill, etc, I doubt they are happy and wanted to grow up and be these types of people. I truly am starting to believe it all began with poor nutrition, maybe for generations in their family lines. Maybe if we can start seeing people in this new light, we would all be kinder, more willing to serve, and be more compassionate. Maybe next time we get a crabby, rude sales person, we can try to remember that they may be suffering.
