These applications, like the Moveable Notebook, make the hand held game console from a tool used to play games to a device used to make people daily life better.

Video games can be used as educational tools, too. The Nintendo DS game Brain Age, for example, is a training program designed to help improve memory and reflex time. The funny activities in the game are used to access your "Brain Age," and if you play daily, your Brain Age will improve little by little.
