Who does not enjoy the superb beauty of a majestic landscape whether in the sky or on earth? Nothing more breath taking than a beautiful painting in nature, whether a mountain landscape, a jungle landscape, a sun set landscape in the desert, or behind the mountains or a seaside sunset.
Dawn with its breath taking colors, shades and lines. No words can describe such a beauty, no paintings can reflect such natural landscapes. Everywhere in the world, wherever we go we are subject to such flabbergasting postcards. If you go under the sea or the ocean then you are exposed to wonders of beauty.
If you go on a mountain walk or a sea side walk or in the fields then you face myriads of views and landscapes. All are subject to change. And all landscapes differ in their beauty and attractions from season to season, from month to month. All landscapes have harmony of features, of lines, of colors of shapes and of light effects. All landscapes have the same admirable impact on nearly every human being, should it be a human being who is watching and admiring.
We have eyes to see. We have brains to watch. We have hearts to feel and have the sense of aesthetics. We all have the sensibility of the senses to react to such beauty provided by the natural landscapes. We cannot but admire what we see and hear and smell.
Our all senses, the five ones, share in the feeling of natural beauty of the earthly landscapes, If we look into the sky and see the formation of clouds, their colors, their layers, their thickness and their thinness.
They present admirable views for the eyes of the beholder. The sky with its wonderful landscapes particularly at night. Glittering stars and planets in our skies. Formidable and breath taking formations of galaxies in their colors, shapes, harmony and dimensions have a lasting impact of admiration.
What prompts such a feeling of admiration and beauty? What prompts the aesthetic experience. Such experience is undeniable. It is there to have its effect on us. It is there to have its communication with us. We and the landscapes are inconstant confrontation.
Every plant on earth is an admirable species of life from its birth to its full age and then its change according to seasons, with its formations of branches, leaves, flowers and fruits. Animals have the same beautiful impact on us, with their shape, form, colors, movement and change. Even microscopic bodies have their own shape, form and color and change that is admirably beautiful and harmonious under the microscopes.
Everything has its part of beauty. Why should we practice a sense of aesthetics? Why should we have such a sense? Why should things in nature have such a beauty that communicates to us its presence and its power? What is it in such a beauty that prompts such a beauty and provokes our sense of admiration and wonder.
Our aesthetic experience leaves on us a certain impression of appreciation, which prompts wonder and interrogation concerning its presence, its origin and its finality. If the finality of a beautiful landscape prompts in us the sense of wonder then this leads us to wonder about the creating force behind and in each of the landscapes and each of the beautiful things whether of plants, animals of minerals or any other manifestation of any phenomenon.
In a way we are forced into such an experience of aestheticism in order to wonder and find out who has done it all. Whethere we admit a creative power that has conceived of such a beauty or not remains to us to answer. But it certainly does have an admirable feeling of appreciation when confronted with such landscapes.
If nature is responsible for such a creation then nature must have a creative power, with intentional finality of creating aesthetic feeling in humans. If nature is behind a beautiful rose or a beautiful fish or a landscape then nature must have a directionality of finality with a specific purpose and an exactly prompting an aesthetic experience in us.
If so then nature must have intelligence and the power to make things in the most beautiful and perfectly harmonious way possible, Then nature must decide the changes that undertake every landscape and every life manifestation with a life cycle and an exact purpose of aestheticism. If so then nature is God.
But nature can very well be the creation of God. Nothing forbids this logic. In fact it is more likely to accept such a logic than accepting that nature is God, as Spinoza claims it to be.
The aesthetic sense found in the aesthetic experience prompts our minds, our hearts and souls to react in one way or the other, most likely prompting a sense of appreciation. This sense prompts in us a sense of a creator designer.
This sense, we do consider, is natural, simple, direct, and unambiguous, if it is not impeded by our arrogance to deny the creating power that has conceived it all.
The aesthetic experience prompts us to believe in a God creator that has made it all.
