All fragrances have different ways of affecting different people, but there are a few common scents that can have more-or-less the same effect on most everyone. Here is a very general list of some of the more common fragrances and the way they can affect your mood: For stress relief you might want to try lavender or vanilla. If you need a boost of energy, try pine, lemon or grapefruit. If you want to spark a romantic moment, try amber scents, sandalwood or jasmine.

Of course these are just general guidelines. Everyone is different and each person will react differently to various types of custom scented candles. Find ones that work and stick with them. Fragrance therapy does work. Essential oils are best because they have actual physical benefits, but perfumes can be just as helpful in many situations.
