You will answer questions, you will solicit advice, and you won't sell it and forget it. The only way you can develop these threads that connect you to your prospects are with mailing lists. It is essential to have them so you can stay in touch with those who are and will be customers. You are going to be in business, and you are more than likely going to strive to be not only legitimate but successful. How can you attain high levels of success unless you care about the people who want your product? You have spent time and money to solicit them. You have spent hours learning how to capture their attention. Once you have them in your niche, you most definitely want repeat business, word of mouth accolades, and the satisfaction of knowing you are accomplishing something beyond just good. You are satisfying needs for people who are seeking what you have to offer, and doing it in a most honorable way. Later is the definition of forgetting you completely 3. Getting potential customers to opt in to your website or request your free gift does not mean they will actually read your mailings. One method is to highlight what you feel will be important points to your prospects. Some examples would be to highlight a teaser at the top of your E-Mail, as that will be the first thing they see when they open the E-Mail. Another method might be to let them know what is coming in the next E-Mail, so they you can develop some anticipation about the next mailing. Of course, any of the methods you choose must contain valuable and pertinent information. If you continue to provide valuable content and give something back to the prospects who purchased from you, you will start seeing your list grow. You might also create a link to a related website with a success story of your affiliated product or service. You can learn how to create mailing lists with a minimum of effort. For something so important, you need to take the time to learn how to create and properly use mailing lists. With the proper training, you can learn how to do this very effectively, and it will just get easier. I can't stress enough the importance of this aspect in your at home business model.
