Affiliate Marketing Forums: Can You Find Real Help?
I've joined a few popular affiliate marketing discussion boards
, but on the whole, I have not been impressed at all by them. What is the actual function of these discussion boards? Is it to really help the members of those forums with great information that will help consider their business, or is it just to push affiliate marketing products on other members?
Unfortunately, what I've seen in many of these forms is the later. Everyone is pressing their products upon everyone else. We wonder if these high-pressure guys even earn a living as affiliate markers? or even Do they simply make a living copying and repackaging other marketers so-so info courses and products? If you've ever walked away from a forums with an empty wallet and a a feel that you've just been had, you'll know what I'm getting at here.
I feel bad for} the poor novice marketers at these type of discussion boards. The novices are made to believe that they need to buy each and every "limited-time, exclusive" offer in these discussion boardsto be a success. Why without buying the affiliate marketing gurus new program, there is no way they'll ever make their own first dollar in affiliate marketing! Of course, this is totally untrue.
What makes me cringe even more is if the novice has the audacity to post a question, about the direction they should be taking, instead of what info product they should purchase, they are insulted and ridiculed. This is a horrible business model! If any business rips off and insults their customers, how long do you thing they will stay in business? It's time to reject this as being the norm.
I was very relieved to at last find an affiliate forum that doesn't drive their members to purchase products, or dazzle members with meanlingless hoopla. In this forum, members are not allowed to post affiliate links. Rather than having to endure a circus-like atmosphere of hucksters and hustlers, you receive unparalleled training in the basics as well as advanced techniques of affiliate marketing, via written and instructional videos. If you ask a question in this forum you will not flamed until you feel like a hog on a barbeque spit, or ridiculed openly within the forum, for simply asking a question. Most unusally for most forums your queries are likely to be clarified by the owner of this forum himself, frequently within minutes of your having posted your question.
Is your discussion board doing all of this for you personally, or merely assisting themselves to your money? Maybe it's time for a change.
