Since affiliates are paid when actions are completed, affiliate marketing is also known as performance marketing. The more clicks you generate; the more sales you complete; the more leads you produce, the more money you make.

Amazon Associates is the most successful affiliate program on the web. Anyone can join, and once you sign up, you can create your own Amazon store to be displayed on your website. They have massive digital libraries that list all the products and services available to be promoted by affiliates. They also look after tracking all the actions being completed, as well as paying and recruiting affiliates.
