Affiliate Marketing as a Hobby
Lets be real
Lets be real. There are people out there who enjoy their day job.
There are those who enjoy getting up and heading out the door to work. Those people can't imagine being home all day in their pajamas in front of a computer running their Internet business. If you think about it, we all would be in a world of hurt if those smiling faces, who are happy with that life were stuck at home being miserable.
That being said, it may be that they do enjoy playing around on the computer, and more than that, sure wouldn't mind making a few dollars while they're at it. And, of course, it is more likely that many know they can't afford to leave the day job, but could use the extra income.
Anyhow, let's consider the hobby of Affiliate Marketing. At least to me, there is a thrill to finding a product I think is great, write a few articles about it, play with designing a website or landing page, and wake up to find I've earned a few sales overnight. That to me is a kick!
There are some who don't care what the product is, or even how it works, and this is fine. It is strictly all business to them. I find no fault with this as long as they aren't promoting a scam that sucks money from innocent people. But, for me, the work is much more enjoyable when I find a product of interest to me. This is where the hobby part comes in.
Do you love to tinker with remote-control cars, or find glass-blowing fascinating? Do you also like to spend time on you computer searching the web for information on your hobby? If you've played around with the idea of making some extra income online, why not incorporate the two and double your fun? You might actually find that your hobby turns into quite a little money maker. I do have to warn you that once you make a commission on a sale through Affiliate Marketing, you are hooked!
My husband and I have our own areas of interest and we have different ways of approaching our Affiliate Marketing. He is all about the technical aspects of html coding and linking and website development. Me? I thoroughly enjoy peeking at various Affiliate programs and networks and see what products I can promote and write articles on. I'm much more into incorporating my hobbies and interests into my business.
If you like the idea of having your own Affiliate Marketing business, but have no desire to leave your current job, or can't afford to . . . consider Affiliate Marketing as a hobby and double your fun!
