When the water becomes hot it radiates heat to the refrigerant inevaporator and vaporizes it. This vapour on passing through compressor is subjected to high pressure and heat which is then sent to condenser. This has a series of air-cooled vanes where heat is given off to surrounding air. The vapour liquefies here and goes back to evaporator to continue the chilling process.
